Where you will find writings and pictures about daily life inhabiting a piece of land on the outskirts of a small Mexican town in the Sonoran Desert along the Rio Sonora.

I suspect you'll find writing here about food, ranging from farming and gardening, to foraging and exploration of the local flora and fauna, to a look inside local grocery stores, to what comes out of our back country solar oven-centric kitchen.

You will also find writing or at least pictures of building with the local materials here to create comfortable, functional and beautiful spaces.
